OCC Ozarks Retreat {Part 1}

This cold, almost-winter, Nebraska weekend had me reminiscing about the Omaha Creative Collaborative retreat to the Ozarks. It already seems like too long ago and I would go back in a heart beat!

This retreat brought me out of my comfort zone, traveling with sixteen other photographers from the Omaha/Lincoln area, which I only briefly meeting a couple of them prior to this trip. I learned a lot, made some kick-ass friends and was able to get creative with other like-minded individuals.

We left for our AirBnB Sunday morning, arriving nauseous from the hilly, winding roads of Missouri after five and a half hours of driving. The sights on the way down were gorgeous, filled with the yellows, oranges and reds of Autumn prime. We couldn't have asked for better foliage mixed with the peaceful serenity of the Fall in Osage Beach for a retreat. Shout out to Taylor, Lane & Nate for organizing this retreat fun!

These are some of the images from our evening stroll the day we arrived at Lake of the Ozarks.
