In June Becca Fellman of Becca's Barrel Horses hosted Trula Churchill for a clinic focused on the competitive edge of barrel racing! Trula has quite the experience & knowledge under her belt! She is a WPRA barrel racer who has qualified for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (3 times), Canadian Finals Rodeo (3 times) and the Ram National Circuit Finals Rodeo (5 times), as well as the Indian National Finals Rodeo once!
Trula shared her years of experience of hauling down the road, some drills to help keep a horse true on the pattern and fresh in the mind, and shared tips with clinic participants on how to improve their horses pattern. Trula took the time to tailor instruction to the needs of each individual, no matter how much experience they had, or didn't have, under their belt!
It was a great experience and we all walked away with a ton of great information we can try in our own arena!
