I was excited to have the Wallen family come out to the farm in Gretna, NE to visit me for a sunset family portrait session as they were wanting to update their family photos! We had a beautiful summer evening with some gorgeous golden hour light!
I love it when families want to update their images. The years fly by quickly, and before you know it, the kids are grown! We often forget to stop along the way to capture the memories and milestones. And I mean more than cell phone pictures accumulating on your sure-to-kick-the-bucket cell phone! Photographs are one of the best ways to help document and remember what your kiddos looked like through different ages and stages.
I'm not talking about always getting professional photos done - though highly suggest to do so occasionally! I'm saying, grab your cell phone and snap a couple while out and about as well as don't forget to capture those every day moments - and then print them! Many times those everyday things are things we will look back at and miss when seasons of life brings changes.
When the time comes that you want more than your cell phone images, I'm here to help you. We'll capture the smiles while looking at the camera, but we will also capture the moments. Whether its brother tickling little sis, or the boys sitting down to scout for grasshoppers, we'll nab those moments in time, those memories for you to enjoy.
My goal as a professional family portrait photographer is to help you plan a stress-free session for you to enjoy- even with young kiddos! Starting before your session, we will have a consultation to answer any of your questions and suggesting tips for picking out your outfits. At your session, we'll use your kiddo's energy to our benefit. We'll play games, have fun and I strive to learn their personalities so I can help capture the best images showcasing their individual talents and attitudes. I aim to have them, and you, leaving the session feeling content and excited for your reveal appointment and having these images adorn your walls.
