Nebraska’s Coziest Holiday Photo Tradition
The smell of fresh pine, the crunch of frosty grass, and the soft glow of the light bouncing off a vintage red pickup awaiting you in the field — that’s the start of the holiday season around here. The 2025 Rustic Winter Pickup Sessions are officially open for booking!
These limited-edition sessions have become a favorite for families, couples, and even four-legged friends. With a warm, rustic setup and just the right amount of holiday charm, they’re made to capture the heart of this season — simple, genuine, and beautifully real.
What Makes These Sessions So Special
Meet “Gramps,” the 1948 red Ford pickup, dressed in timeless winter style. Each year, I bring him to life with cozy textures - think cowhide, wood logs, soft pillows, and a touch of greenery - to create that rustic winter atmosphere everyone loves. It’s the kind of setup that feels festive without being overly Christmas-themed, making your images perfect for both holiday cards and year-round display.
Sessions take place just south of Gretna, Nebraska, in a quiet country setting that catches that golden, glowing light Nebraska is known for. Between the natural backdrops and the warm, earthy tones of the truck setup, every detail is designed to photograph beautifully whether you come dressed in flannel and jeans or something a little more elevated.

Perfect for Families, Couples, and Pets 🐾
Whether you’re updating family portraits, celebrating your first Christmas together, or including your four-legged best friend, these sessions are designed to be relaxed, fun, and full of connection.
“Gramps” has been part of everything from giggling toddlers piling into the back, to couples cuddled under a blanket, to proud dog parents capturing the sweetest holiday memories. You bring the people (and pups); I’ll bring the cozy setup and the warm, stress-free experience.
Why Clients Come Back Year After Year
