Get to know Ambassador Kodi Dickeson

Hi, I'm Kodi Dickeson. My roots are here in Southwest, Iowa where I was born and raised. I have been riding since I was 5. I have known cattle and horses my entire life. I have two twin sisters and a brother. I graduated highschool and pursued a degree in Agribusiness. I am a ranch momma to two beautiful kids, Jaxxon and Kansas. Also a ranch wife to my amazing husband, TJ. We have a herd of 50 plus Angus Crossbred cows, a herd of horses, and raise Border Collies here in Southwest Iowa.

How you would you describe your personality? I am a multitude of personalities. Optimistic, enthusiastic, motivated/determinded, open minded, easy going, helpful, understanding.

What are three words someone else would use to describe you?

Funny, honest, passionate

Are you a member of any clubs, groups, or associations?

I am a farm bureau member in Taylor County. Working my way back to the arena, hoping to become apart of some amazing barrel racing groups.

What sports or activities you participate in? At what level?

I currently am working on getting consistent and returning to the arena. Barrel racing is my passion.

What are your favorite activities to do outside of the arena or work?

Spending time with my husband and kids, tootling around the farm taking care of our cows/horses and our pups, working out and at night you can most definitely find me curled up with a blanket reading a book

What is something you are proud of yourself for?

In the last 8 years, this girl has a lot to be proud of. I have moved mountains I didn't think I could budge. I became a single mom eight years ago to two beautiful children. In 2021 I met the man of my life, who married me on 9/10/22. I have a gained so much self confidence, as I have not only lost 100 pounds but I have found myself once again.

What are three things you cannot live without? Why?
