As a Nebraska wedding photographer, engagement sessions are a fun way for me to get to know my wedding couple. It also gives peace of mind to the future bride & groom to know who will be in their bubble the majority of the day - let's face it, your wedding photographer is in your space more than your wedding party, and spend more time with you than any other vendor during your wedding day!
When it comes to planning your engagement portraits, I highly advise couples to pick something that speaks to them and is true to their personalities. If they like modern, we find the the perfect modern vibe, and if they love nature - well, that's my jam. I gotchu!
There are so many options when it comes to finding backdrops for your engagement portraits. From private location offerings, to more well know places, and a few hidden public gems, I have a handful of suggestions, and am always up for special-to-the-couple locations like family farms, first date spots, or almost anything in-between!
Ysabella & David wanted something nature-based that provided a unique backdrop and Platte River State Park did not disappoint! This park may be one of my favorites, though Eastern Nebraska is blessed with quite a few State Park gems! Have you checked out Stone Creek Falls yet?
